Residents and tourists are fleeing Caribbean islands ahead of a powerful storm that's also likely to affect the United States. Extra flights helped many leave Turks and Caicos before the airport had to be shut. "I don't remember ever seeing a mass exodus like this," resident Tracy Paradis told The Associated Press. Hurricane Ike is also worrying Florida, where Gov. Charlie Crist has declared an emergency.
